Pointers & Tips:

*If you say “LA” it means NO. Everyone will harass you to buy things from them or get sucked into their touristy traps. Don’t fall for them! Even the ladies doing henna will be done with the design on your hand within a minute and insist you owe $$ when you didn’t even ask for it!

*if you hire a private driver, they can bring you on a daily tour and bring you to a local Berber village. I highly recommend this. It is not expensive. We even have a nice older guy bring us around all week in his vintage Mercedes. Just make sure they speak english so they can give you information along and way and you can communicate about what you want to do. IT’S SUPER CHEAP!

*Bring a extra bag to bring home beautiful Morrocan goods! They are about 1/8 of the price then when you buy them in NYC, and they are the real deal. The SHACKE is one of the best things I have ever purchased to bring goods home, it folds up then expands to a full carry on.
